Health & Safety

corporate-responsibility-heWithin our Integrated Management System (IMS), we have achieved triple accreditation in Quality Assurance (AS/NZS ISO 9001) Occupational Health & Safety (AS/NZS 4801:), and Environmental Management (AS/NZS ISO 14001:), which reinforce the quality and efficiency of the SECUREcorp range of services.   We engage in rigorous internal scrutiny of our services via internal audit programs and systems testing, as well as being independently audited annually by Best Practice Certification.

Quality Management

All SECUREcorp operating systems and client management processes are governed by third party accreditation under ISO 9001.    An integral feature of the Quality Management component of the SECUREcorp IMS system is implementing consistent procedures and standards across geographically fragmented sites, with limited direct contact with many of our employees.  Consequently, the SECUREcorp system uses technology and training to deliver the message and monitor compliance with the system.

Our commitment to achieving positive customer outcomes is guided by the use of accredited systems and detailed reporting and KPI systems.

Occupational Health and Safety

SECUREcorp recognises and fully accepts its responsibility under the various state Occupational Health and Safety Acts to provide, as far as is practicable, a healthy and safe work environment for all staff.    SECUREcorp is also committed to the wellbeing of others who attend its workplaces, i.e. members of the public, client staff members, contractors and other visitors.

SECUREcorp operates a comprehensive risk management system to ensure safe work methodologies are used as we pursue the objective of a workplace where no one gets hurt. The OH&S management system is accredited to AS/NZS 4801.

In recognising that health and safety is an integral part of good management and best practice, SECUREcorp is committed to the establishment and maintenance of safe work practices, adequate supervision, sufficient training and education and the provision of safe plant, machinery and equipment. These philosophies include:

  • all employees have a personal responsibility for health and safety and that of others
  • creating a safety culture that includes all employees, and
  • a commitment to firm operational orders and procedures.
